Pirata Pequeno - one of those small cigars that comes in a tin of 8. I think I got it as a freebie awhile back with one of my orders. Not too bad a smoke but it has an off-putting sweetness and aftertaste to it - sort of like an Acid. I wouldn't spend money on them but for the price I guess they're smokeable.

Smoked a Padron 40th maduro then a H Upmann EL Magnum 48.
The 45th was great but I may like the regular #2 maduro more especially when considering price. The Magnum burnt and drew horribly. Still had very good flavor. |

It was pretty mild, but very smokey. Started to get quite tar-ry towards the end- it had a small pre-cut hole that kinda gathered all the tar. I recut and that helped. Pretty amazing actually for a cigar older than me!

Dear Lord, Thank You.

I had a Padron 1926 #35 maduro. It was a bit flat for awhile, picked up nicely, then hit some junk and went out on me. Relit it and it totally went south.
Despite all that, it was still a very enjoyable smoke. Sofaman burned one with me, he had a 1926 #35 Nat. I think I'm done with the #35's now. The #6 is SO much better.

Snowbirds are headed home and the rates on the links are dropping.
Had a La Aurora double corona 2nd and 18 holes of sunshine and fresh air. Saw two courting bald eagles as well.
