Bluetooth Headset Recommendations??
As of January 1st, you can't use cell phones while driving without a headset of some sort.
Any recommendations? I'm thinking about an Aliph Jawbone 2... thanks in advance! |

The Jawbone seems to be one of those love it or hate it products. I've been pretty happy with my Cardo Scala 700 (also used the 500 for a while before my wife's dog used it for a chewtoy).

Love my Jabra JX10 ...
Its so light weight I dont even need to use the ear hook.. and the sound quality is excellent for both sides of the conversation. |

Re: Bluetooth Headset Recommendations??
I would have to say the jawbone. I have had 2 of them and loved them both. Good battery life, excellent sound quality. It is also comfortable to wear for long periods of time. One suggestion, use the loop that comes with it, it will make it more comfortable to wear and i use the gel piece with the small loop on the side, it seems to hold better in my ear.
The only drawback I have found is the other buttons. There are supposed to be some, I can't find them. lol All in all, a bit more expensive than others, but well worth the money. |

Re: Bluetooth Headset Recommendations??
I kind of depends what you want to use it for -- for just phone conversations the Jawbone is good. I use my headset to listen to the radio, music, podcasts, etc., so I got a stereo headset -- Motorola S9-HD:
and I love it! There are controls on the left side for starting/stopping a call and changing the volume. On the right you can start/stop/select music. |

I replaced it with the Plantronics Voyager Pro. It's every bit as good and a little better looking. Pro on top/ 510 on bottom [IMG][/IMG]

Re: Bluetooth Headset Recommendations??
Okay - now that everyone else is done joking around -
I've have been through a ton of headsets in my quest for the best one out there - and this is it: The BlueAnt Q1 Some of the highlights: You simply talk to it to tell it what you want, e.g. answer, ignore, pair mode, hang up, check battery on phone and headset etc etc. And it of course talks to you. You can pair it with up to 8 devices and talk on two different phones at the same time. Great for me as I carry a company phone and a personal phone. I also have it paired with my netbook - good for when people are around or using Skype, etc. It can be updated via the computer. Recently they released an update so now I can listen to music from my phone. Handy for when you are stuck some place a want some tunes playing or to watch a video. Comes with everything needed to charge in the house, car or by computer. The thing is very lightweight and comfortable. Volume is excellent. I work around noise all day so purchased some Comply Phone Tips for it - but most would not need them. Has a two year warranty. I have had several BlueAnt products so have called the Tech Support a few times. Always got a live person who was able to help the very first time. That's a big plus in my book. Ron |

I've got a BlueAnt Z9i, It's got great noise cancellation, supposedly on par with the Jawbone.
