I went to the Blazer site to see. When you go to the page for the Lil Buddy there is a spinning image showing all sides of the lighter. If you pause it when the ignition button is on the left, you can see "made in Japan" clearly.

I'm another lighter ho and will need to get one of these!

Looks a little bigger but would love to see a side by side photo . The fact that it can stand on a table all by itself is cool . Thanks for the video link .
