Ybor City
I highly recommend every cigar smoker make a trip there at least once, preferably on their cigar festival day. I went with my dad and some good friends and it was amazing, going from store to store smoking fresh hand-rolled cigars and Cuban coffee for hour and hours. Aside from all the cigars, the streets are full of vendors with REALLY good food, as well as live music. Can;t recommend it enough, make the trip if you can.

Re: Ybor City
Do they have this festival yearly? If so I may plan my vacation around it. Any websites so I can live vicariously in the meantime?

Very neat place. Unfortunately I went before I started smoking cigars, but it was still fun.

Re: Ybor City
I was there just this past year... got a few fresh handrolled cigars at a store there and really enjoyed it.
My 4yr old just stood there and watched a guy roll a few cigars, then the roller took a stem and made it into a ring for my boy to wear on his fingers. He kept it on the rest of the trip hah! |
