Jose Marti is a a fairly inexpensive cigar, tis true. However, I remember getting them in the late 1990s and they were a decent smoke. I remember them as medium-mild bodied Nicaraguan smokes. I know that JR sells a ton of them. Don't expect a Padron, Pepin, or Oliva - but a decent mild smoke.

This was one of the first cigars I ever bought. I got one at a cigarette smoke shop that had a small humi. I payed liked $13 for a Toro sized glass tubo. I actually really enjoyed it at the time. After getting more serious into Cigars I picked up a 10 pack from JR and they were about $2 a piece
