I've heard about half of the record and the recording quality and performances are 'best of career'-level for these guys. However, to my ears, the music, itself, just kinda sits there. Great sounding record, but no dice. It's all about the writing. __________________ Marvin Shanken is a terrific guy... for me to poop on!
