Hey just my two cents but do not give up on a B&M. A good B&M and tobaconist is second to none. For you first point on the wrapper just check you cut. I have found if you take off too much of the cap halfway through the smoke you may see your wrapper start to unroll. As for the feel of the cigar when you squeeze them they should give slightly and not crackle. For the mold the wrapper and the foot will normally show the first signs in the unfortunate circumstance you have some. Nothing in stone here just my thoughts. Keep smoking and asking your questions here.
