Chemistry sets.

The original Chuck Taylor Converse tennis shoes.

Very few high school girls sports teams.

Very few high school boys sports teams.

Your mom could bake birthday treats for your classroom.

Chalkboards and cleaning erasers.

Nobody thought much about a bunch of kids playing together after dark in the neighborhood.
