Hey, Just Mark, works for me. You realize though that the mods messed up and made your username Mark though.

Well we could just call ya BM, but I can see that that might pose a problem too, they would think it was bowel movement and that wouldn't be good either.

Welcome, Mark. Be sure to check out the Newbie Sampler thread.

BTW, there's some guy in Chapel Hill who goes by BostonMark. Do you know him? He's supposed to work in some local B&M, and may even invite you to his pig-roast coming up. I hear he's a bit of an @$$hole, but sounds like he could be a good mark.

Just FYI, Terry Holland named his dog Dean too, back inna day when he coached UVA. He said it was so he'd have something around to kick. Mebbe you better consider renaming that pooch too - sounds like bad karma to an old 'Hell like me.

Haha I have heard that story a dozen times!

Works out for Dean, though. He's a happy puppy who never (rarely ) gets kicked!

It's spelled "Mark," but it's pronounced "That yankee from Boston."

Norm was before my time. I still remember Jimmy V slinging his coat in anger. He was a passionate yankee we came to love.

Eventually.

Well, 1983 to be exact.

Well, you should love Norm too, a '51 alum who won The Pack a title back in '74 with the original basketball Mutt 'n Jeff combo of Monte Towe and Tommy Burleson, plus some kid name of - oh, what was it now? - yeah, David Thompson, that's it.

That was smack dab inna middle of my time. I saw Thompson first play freshman ball against the 'Heels in the old Carmichael Auditorium, and thought I was seeing things. And that was before I starting "seeing things" in college!

Don't know if Norm ever threw his coat, but I do believe he should have burned them.
