Looking for Memory Foam Mattress Info

Understood, I figured he would have more exposure to the different types out there. I wasn't thrilled with the foams that we tried but I have no clue which ones they were. Let me know if I can help in anyway.

I'm reading this with interest. My wife and I are in the market for a new one and have been thinking of memory/latex foam as well.

I used to have a memory foam pillow and didn't like the sensation of my head slapping into soft clay... then melting into it after 5-10 seconds. Once you settled in, it was great... but the foam morph when you first got in or changed positions was a bit of a PITA. I'm nervous about how it would be on a whole mattress vs. just the pillow.
