I also have the program, but I had to have the shutter control repaired twice, they did not get it the first time

Nikon man myself - the only Canon I ever coveted was their rangefinder copy of a Leica. But there must be some old Canon users here. Yet I'm curious, Junior - you talking mechanical vintage (AE-1, F1) or autofocus (Rebel, EOS, etc.) here?

Oh man those are nice. I used a screw mount 50 1.4 canon lens on a 7s years ago ... one of the nicest 35mm cam/lens combos I have ever used. I sold it when Kodachrome 25 and Agfa APX 25 went dodo. Still miss 'em though.

I was thinking of the EOS users.

I am a Nikon user myself. I just switched back from Canon. I just had a flash lying around that only works on the eos cameras, and I have no use for it.

There was nothing wrong with the Canons I had. I just got nostalgic, and went back to Nikon. Plus the price of the film cameras has gotten cheap. I can now afford the F4 that I coveted in college. I will also pick up an F5 as well.

I already picked up a D1x so I can go back to shooting semi-pro again. I have one of the local papers that has seen some of my old work, and are going to let me shoot some sports for them. I am also doing some part time work for my cousin in his studio, and am thinking of going back to shooting wedding again. I have shot a few this year for family, and everyone is happy with my work.

For film I still use my A-1, AE-1P and AT-1.

For digital, I have a Rebel that's about 4 years old.

I've found that, while the digital is nice for most tasks, I like to use my A-1 with a motor drive on occasion - mainly for sport shots.

I want to move up to a newer Canon digital SLR someday, but funds are tight right now!
