Many (belated) thanks for the birthday wishes!

I think I dropped a note to someone that in honor of my birthday, two days beforehand I pulled a muscle in my mid-back whilst simply pruning some Wisteria. Not picking up anything heavy, not in a bar fight, not while running in a decathalon... Just cutting some vegetation. Well anyway, 43 is apparently the point at where I recognize I am not as fit as I used to be. Shoot, I was stupid enough to challenge my twelve year old to a lousy mile and a half run a week or two back and he smoked me like Monte #2. I've got to get back into shape...

BTW, Vicodin and muscle relaxers might take away the pain and tightness and make for a nice little easy chair vacation, but they don't do jack for productivity.
