Default The Cigar Buzz Thread

So I don't normally get buzzed too much from Cigars. In fact I don't think I have really been buzzed since the FIRST edition of the Edge that was like friggin Pot.

BUT... Today I just smoked a My Father Lancero and feel like I'm DRUNK... Not sure why I'm sure it is just an effect of numerous factors, but yea...

The question is, what cigar has given you the most/best/worst buzz?

Well, how much have you had to drink? Maybe you are drunk

As for me, the only times I remember getting that feeling, and for me it was far more unpleasant than drunk, was when I smoked what was no doubt a fake cuban h. upman tubo I bought in Aruba from some street vendor that was about churchill size, and when I smoked some Fuente in a cedar sleeve one night that caught me completely by surprise. With the fake cuban, it was probably something else in it. With the Fuente, I have no idea what it was about it. I do remember feeling nasty after both - sweats, upset stomach, etc.

JDN Antano Marchito on an empty stomach, El Cobre Robusto a couple of years ago, and an Oliva V that snuck up on me.

I once smoked a Nub Habano on an empty stomach. Holy hell, I had cold sweats and other things happening to me that I would rather not talk about

The only time I've gotten really buzzed was off my first box of Party shorts. Don't let the size fool you! Those little f*ckers kicked my ass for a month until I finally got used to the nicotine.

The "black ghost" rolled by Fransico, the house blender at Habana Premium in Albany, NY. I was a little weak in the knees after smoking that one, but it was a damn good smoke, only problem is he cant make them fast enough!
