 This is Ozzie, our year old American Cocker Spaniel, and Samantha, our 19 year old Siamese cat. Samantha died today after living a full, adventurous life. She was a stray that my wife rescued back in 1992. Age finally caught up to her, and she passed away quietly in her cat cube this afternoon. I took this picture this morning, after Ozzie finished giving her a tongue bath (which pretty much just meant he licked off all the dried catfood stuck to her face.) We buried her tonight in a cardboard box (from Cigars International ) in a little, wooded section of our backyard where she used to stalk birds.
