U. S. Troop Line Maduro from Kioki Cigars

Eric, with Kioki Cigars, was kind enough to send me two cigars from his new line he is developing especially for the Troops. The first one I'm reviewing is the Maduro Robusto. So I light this good looking cigar up and take a couple of puffs. Very mild. Interesting flavor. Smooth. I can't quite pin point the flavor this early in the smoke. Nice. Ok. I got it. A very mild wood and leather flavor. After about an inch in I have to relight. I probably should have dry boxed it for a couple of days before smoking....too late now, so I'll just have to make the best of it. Starting to develop some spice. The draw has been very good from the start. I can tell that this is a very well constructed cigar.
Halfway through and it has really developed into a spicy medium bodied smoke. Still very smooth. A few touch ups have been required, but I believe given some rest and those burn issues would fix themselves.
Almost done now and it is still a nice medium bodied, spicy smoke that will be taken down to the nub.
I really enjoyed this cigar and would definately buy these for my humidor. Thanks again Eric, great job!!

Fantastic review and could not have done that better myself. I noticed that as well and I keep the cigars a little wet as most do in my walk in, so when anyone here buys them or the Troops they are fresh and not dried out.

Thanks again and great palate and rating!
