I get the feeling I am about to Incur the wrath of our point man …
I have dug in, my steel pot is strapped down tight, Flak vest zipped to the neck,
The Colors of 2nd Marines are flying proudly … The words of Gny. SGT. Davis ring through my head.
I await the onslaught …. I will not falter, I will stand firm and make those who took Tarawa, Iwo and Wake proud ….. Ooooh Raah
