			Here is a Seiko (Jap Quartz) I like and it looks like it can be found under $100. I would prolly change the band if possible, but I really like the watch.

			That is what I was hoping, it is a nice looking cheap watch. I think slowly I will aquire better watches. Hopefully each watch will be nicer than the last.

			I like to do it the other way around; buy watch with a bracelet and then buy a strap.

			Yeh. I'll see. I can always replace the band though.  I think they make the same watch with a metal bracelet instead

			Well thats my point. I have many invictas and are all solid as a rock! This one however is delicate and chincy. I wouldnt use it for any work, just sayin. It WILL break
