Recent Delivery - Interesting Stuff

After last week's final arrival, I just had to show this stuff to you guys:

About 4 weeks back, I recieved an email stating that my Davidoff source had a "limited inventory" of Avo Limited Edition 2007s. So about 2 weeks ago, I made the call: I took the very last box of Avo LE 07s in the store



And while I was at it - I managed to snag one of the last few boxes of 100th Anniversary Robustos



My 3rd favorite cigar of all time, was the Davidoff Special 53 - Davidoff's 2002 Limited Edition release. They were in extremely short supply back then when they were released and sold out within months. VirtualSmitty gifted me a box for Christmas of that year and I've been pining for them and crying the blues for their demise ever since.

Long story short, I met a gentleman at a recent cigar event who knew of my endless love for this particular vitola and informed me that he had a box of them he wouldn't mind parting with. Though it's probably not the only box still in existence, it's gotta be damn close to it. And here she is, now in my possession:

My Davidoff source also had something very interesting: the Davidoff Royal Robusto. You too, can have a box of 50 for only $2,000!!!! ROFLOL. I took exactly *1*, lol. 1 cigar that is! I haven't found the opportunity to try it out, but here she is in all her overpriced glory:

very nice. I am a bi fan of the Intermezzo and the Griffin's. The Davidoffs I would keep sealed and let them rest for a decade or so.

Nice haul! I've had a couple of Davidoffs and they were good.

I hate to say it, but I'll probably never smoke those Special 53s, lol. Okay, maybe if I see a Mushroom Cloud develop on the horizon, I'll run straight for them

I have absolutely NO willpower. I just got off the phone with my Davidoff source and I found out that they just got in another box of Avo LE 07s...so I took that and another box of the 100th Anniversary Robustos...

I need to go put myself out of my own misery before it's too late!
