Exactly not to mention that Gonchar and Whitney are out. Those are some big puck moving defensemen. Sometimes I want to give Bob Mackenzie a shot in the mouth.

Still smarting over the butt-whoopin' Detroit put on my Hurricanes.
Hoping they continue to develop... I am optimistic that some of the changes they made will bear fruit. |

Still looking for the first Hawks win of the year...only a couple of teams can still say that.

I have to say I am happy with the way my Wild team has been playing so far. Actually averaging more than a goal a game! Lemaire must have really opened up the offense!!!

Don't worry...I'm sure they'll get one this year Did Jack Skille make the team or did they send him back down to Rockford? I might have to start rooting for the Hawks with all the x-Badgers... |

Re: NHL '08- '09 Thread
I'm liking the Rangers so far this year. It's refreshing to see a young team (I think they said the 5th youngest in the league on TV the other night) playing like a team. They're still making some mistakes in their own end, but Henrik has been bailing them out. Hopefully over time those will go away.
Buffalo should be a good test tonight. Last edited by rhdad42; 10-15-2008 at 03:31 PM. Reason: PEBKAC error |

Skille made the team, and has been one of the better forwards through 3 games.

Re: NHL '08- '09 Thread
Looks like the Leafs have another player that everyone can hate again(see Tucker, Domi). Hellwig(sp?) gets three more games for the hit on Pietrangelo(BTW a former or maybe still Niagara Icedog).
Ryan now needs to go 41 games without a major to expunge his record. If not he keeps adding the games to the suspensions. It's 3 now, next would be 4 etc etc. |
