I think it seals well. I used some silicone on the outlet where it mounts up. Im not sure about adding felt to the doors and drawer

I have the oasis set to like 80% right now for seasoning and it doesnt seem to be running constantly. so it might be sealed up ok.

Sounds like you have a good handle on it. Season for several days, at least. If you haven't already, wring out a paper towel or sponge and wipe down the inside. This is mostly to remove dust and crap. Don't try to use it to moisten the wood as it is easy to overdo it and cause warpage.

I think that it is a beautiful piece of furniture and hope that you have many great years of use. You do know that you would have gotten more space out of converting the dog carrier, right?
