I've had two of the Partagas Extra Oscuro Rothchild shorts, and both were impossible to draw through. One, I cut about an inch off, and it was so dense, almost couldn't cut through it.

Tonight cigar experience is an adventure in past greatness followed by deep disappointment in a brand downfall.

Great cigar is the Viaje Holiday 2012. Rich, full body and full flavored. This cigar is so good I almost hated smoking it because I think it's my last.

Second cigar is the Viaje Exclusivo Chiquito 2015 - really disappointing. The Excusivo line from previous years is possibly my all time favorite cigar but the 2015 release is a pale image that appears to be the cigar you loved but tastes like a flimsy imatation. Viaje has tanked in my opinion and this is a damn shame. These cigars have now moved to my follow up cigars that I smoke after my palate has been satiated.

Now I realize the (potential) future president of the US doesn't believe in global warming, but having it unseasonally good up here, with the thaw happening in March. After a fairly hectic day at work, I decided to numb the senses with morphine.

I think the name is wrong - it should be "macaine" or "propofol" - I wasn't numbed - I was insensate!

The Black Trading Co limited release "Morphine" lancero - a powerful, flavorful masterpiece. I underestimated this stick - the tastes were quite dark, meaty and brooding. About halfway down uncle Nic hits you in the face, and you go "oh yum - I know why I keep up this harmful habit".... and have to sit down.

They're dwindling in the box - this makes me sad....
