ha ha, I have the same issue with "lending" money. If I loan anyone money, I do it with the understanding that I'm not going to get it back if it's under 100 bucks. It took my brother in law 5 years to pay me 1000 dollars back. A new car, new grill, and countless toys were bought by him in those 5 years. His credit rating is -100 for me. lol

Good luck sir. I wouldnt be surprised to hear from ownership on this issue after they determine the true culprit. Would have been better if you had some sort of documentation as the manager may still be able to influence the other employees to try and push this off on you.
