I'm also waiting on an estate Commodore Canadian #202, but I'll take some pix when I've had a chance to clean it up and throw some wax on it.

I've been looking at GBD's since someone posted a real pretty one on here someplace.

It's funny, all it took was one piece of advice to make it easier for me to enjoy pipes. I forget who wrote it but it was: "Don't be afraid of re-lighting". Now I'm not struggling to keep it lit and therefore it's not over heating. That easy!
Same here, and dry tobacco. It's insane how good it tastes when it isn't a fiery inferno

My zippo butane insert came DOA, so I need to return it. I decided to give the fluid one a try again... I still taste the fluid, but I can't taste it down through the entire bowl like I did at first. I'm not sure if this is because my taste is muted due to allergies, or if it's because the wick needed to burn down some. For now it seems a little better. If I can limit the taste to only when I'm lighting, I think I can live with that for the ease and convenience of using a zippo. I have a lotus brand lighter that has a dual soft flame torch, but it has the smallest tank of any lighter I've ever used. It runs out of gas after about 15 lights, which isn't much considering how often I have to relight.

I, too, have learned the joys of dry 'baccy. BTW, nice pipe; I've always liked military fittings.
