Hard to blame the bullpen when the Mets could only muster 6 hits over 13 innings, and had the bases loaded with one out in the 11th.
At some point you have to score if you want to win.

How long do you want the bullpen to hold them off?

These guys can't hit for ****. The game was handed to them in the 11th and they basically said "no thank you". This is getting very frustrating.

Mets beat the Padres last night 6-2. Abreu had four hits and Colon pitched well. Must have been "old man rivers" night at the ballpark.

It's a win and I'll take it.

Philly got beat today, so we're (temporarily) out of last place.

Mets FINALLY beat the Cardinals, 3-2. Colon looked great and even had his first ever extra base hit (was ugly watching him run the bases).

Mets beat the Marlins, 1-0, on a 1st inning Wright HR. Wheeler pitched his first complete game.

Nice game by Wheeler.
He has stuff, but he's inconsistent.
Most surprising thing about last night is they actually found a way to beat the Marlins.
Only need 1 more win to earn a split, which is like winning the series for the Mets.
