I happened to be in the neighborhood of my B&M so I thought I'd stop in to see if anything caught my eye. They had a small display for Puro Vida, which is a new cigar company located here in Biloxi, MS. They're just getting started in the business (they're having an event at the B&M tomorrow but unfortunately I won't be able to go). They currently offer three sticks; all are Nicaraguan puros with Connecticut, Habano, or Maduro wrappers. I picked up one of the Habano and two Maduros to try.

Looking good. I picked up a few Estate items at last nights event. Picture to come once I get some free time at work or when I get home.

Finally tracked down a full box of Ortega Wild Bunch Dandy McCoy's from Bear at empire cigars. Thanks brother!
![]() and of course nothing travels alone. He sent along two empire cigar blends and two Illusione Rex's, which I've never heard of or seen. Many thanks! ![]()

Glad they got in safe Kevin. Those Rex are tasty little sticks. And while I know the exact blend of the Promise, all I'm cleared by the boss man to say is it uses "a full bodied spicy wrapper, and medium bodied creamy fillers" and that they're made for us by Oliva. Here are the halfwheel reviews for both:

Today's haul:
![]() Been on a cheap stick hunt lately and I remember Remo raving about the GH 2002's. I wasn't looking for a bundle but the price I got them for from the devil site was just too good to pass up. Same goes for the La Herencia Cubana fiver. The Cain 550 maddie, Ortega and Murcielago were on sale at the B&M today.
