Smoked my first bowl of Dunhill Nightcap tonight. That is some nice tobacco. One of the best I have tried in my limited experience so far!

I felt that way about a tin I smoked ~November. But then I smoked Pease "Gaslight," which is so good I would have to classify it as belonging in the stratosphere with 3Nuns made by Imperial, which is not to say anything bad about "Nightcap," always a classic.

That being said, I'd never put Gaslight above "Murray" Nightcap. It is good, but not that good IMHO. ![]() Off to the shop for a day of playing on the lathe. I'll be smokin' H&H El Nino to start the day, then a bowl or two of Blackhouse, finishing the day off with Magnum Opus. All will be in pipes I made.

Right now I am finishing up a nice bowl of Penzance in my Mastro De Paja Rusticated Bent Apple. I have a three day weekend starting tonight so I thought I would indulge a little!

Had a bowl of Old Gowrie and really enjoyed it. Could've been made better by the fact I never had to relight it and I was smoking outside for the first time in months. A great smoke nonetheless.

Right now, it is something called Wooden Indian. A friend brought it back from a shop in Memphis. Pretty dang good....
I tend to lean towards the aromatics. Mostly light aromatics though . C&D does a fantastic job with them. Then again, I have never had anything from C&D that was not fantastic. |
