Plasencia Reserva 1898
The Plasencia Reservaa 1898 is not a flashy cigar. It isn't wining awards. But I got it for $7 a 5 pack. What I did find out is that construction was quite good. The flavor profile lent itself to tea (more chai really) and I found it was just the right stick at the right time; nothing to scoff at. Unlike the 5 Vegas which people go on about, I never got bored, or felt like I was missing a My Father. No, it's not an MF or a La Aroma, it's not supposed to be. The combination of dry nuttiness just worked in certain contexts. Do not underestimate these sleepers unless you can afford to smoke $15 - $50 sticks all the time. I know I can't.

Re: Plasencia Reserva 1898
Good short and to the point review. Makes me want to try one. It's on my list now.
Thanks, RR |
