Sweet!!! I met Butch at Blade last year. Super nice guy and the Benchmade is one hell of a nice knife!

Great pics Tony. She's definitely a beaut. Charlie, digging that Leatherman. Been looking for a nice keychain multi tool.

Thanks for the comments Derek and Charlie. I am really liking this little one! The only thing I would change is the pocket clip. It came with a Spyderco wire clip.

This is my steady. I only have pocket knives and I don't have a rotation set. I carry the same one until I lose it or I get an overwhelming desire to change (which I never do). It's my box-opening, fish tackle-mending, leftover steak-slicing, general purpose everything you want it to do piece. I hit it on the sharpener every few months, but it rarely needs much maintenance. Probably have 4 years on it. Picture below is stock - mine has a little more patina. My mom gave my BIL and me these for Christmas as a Buck Collector’s Edition 2-knife set; 379 Solo and a 373 Trio. Neither of us use the 379 Solo. He broke the point off the big blade in the 373 within a year, but he still carries it. I feel lost is it's not in my pocket.

My Benchmade 300S-1 Ball Axis Flipper Serrated G10 arrived today. I've only had this thing an hour and I absolutely LOVE it. Feels perfect in my hand, great construction, love the look, the deft of it, my first flipper...my new EDC. (X5)

Awesome Knife, Mac! Congrats! Any Reason You Chose The Partially Serrated Version? I Have Several Of Each Type & I Really Have No Preference, Myself, Except The Serrated Are A Little More Difficult To Sharpen. |
