			Lots of good answers, and while I agree with the Ardbegs, Taliskers, etc. I find it stunning that there's yet to be a mention of Highland Park 12.

			Goody's down the road typically has either Glenmorangie or Glenfiddich regularly on sale for $30 with two glasses, so that usually fits the bill, but I'll sample anything they have in that area that's marked down.....pops got me a bottle of the 12 year Chivas for Christmas, it's decent, so that's what I have for now....any good 12 year at or below $30 hits the mark for me...been lucky enough to sample some amazing 18 year courtesy of my buddies from time to time and they are impeccable.
