My father-in-law has enjoyed his pipe occasionally since I introduced him, and has expressed an interest in trying some Apple tobacco. I mostly smoke cigars, so am not really familiar with pipe retailers/blends. Can someone recommend a good spot for pipe tobacco in NYC or a website with a selection of good stuff, preferably with something apple flavored. He prefers aromatics.

A place called Tobacco Road, who was a franchise and usually had mall stores, carried this. My dad smoked it and I can still remember the fragrance of that tobacco. Loved it!
You can find some here: http://pipesandcigars.com/miapto1po.html#.UgLECBzG5gs

Any other recommendations for apple? I'm no expert and mean no offense to anyone's regular brands, but don't drug store available tobaccos tend to have more bite?
