Saint Luis Rey Rothschild Maduro Review
$4.- $5.
5 x 54 Prelight: Sweet leather, hay, cocoa 1st 1/3 Sweet smooth maduro wrapper comes through as just that, medium-to-full, great draw, spicy slight pepper notes get stronger, woody, cocoa and coffee note also. Not very dimensional but the cigar is still pleasant smoke, burn straight and great construction. 2nd 1/3 Now smoother, with the sweet leather and earth coming out Had to touch it up because of it going off center Final 1/3 Getting pepper now with leather notes, that's it Getting to hot... Smoke time: 40 min Score: 5 out of 10

Re: Saint Luis Rey Rothschild Maduro Review
I tossed it with 2 1/4 inches left tasting to much pepper, my most hated note and it was 106 out didn't help

Re: Saint Luis Rey Rothschild Maduro Review
I will say that the flavor of the Saint Luis Reys has been consistent through the last few years. That puts them on my "buy when I don't know what else to buy" list, when traveling and trying to support some non-local B&M.
Thanks for posting these reviews by the way.
