. . . and takes over sole possession from Trevor Hoffman for the record. But still, he has but one RBI. Trade the piker!

I thought I'd bounce this one back up to take note that Mo got his 625th last night against the O's down in Baltimore. In case you haven't noticed, the old man is 17 for 17 in save opportunities so far this year, with an astronomical ERA of 1.47. "Astronomical??" Yeah . . . it's stellar.

In case you missed it, Mo got his 650th save last night, which is a record that should stand for a little while. And yeah, he still has the one career RBI too.

Reminds me of a few years back, when Rod Sux fans were chirping how Poopiebum was better than Mariano. Boston fans know the Rod Sux, but know NOTHING about baseball.

Let's not make this personal, fellas. Generic trash talk is fine but personal barbs can turn ugly fast.

Koji compared to a young Mo last night, which is funny because he's actually 38yrs old. 34 batters retired in a row, I suppose that would be the real comparison his nasty split-finger and 88 mph fastball. |
