Nephew starting to collect military knives
My nephew who was, until a few weeks ago, a combat engineer and is now at Lackland AFB in the working dog school, would like to start up a collection of military knives from WWI onwards. He'd like to eventually get a large collect that includes all sides in the various conflicts. He is also wanting peace time knives if they are different from what was used in a conflict.
Dunno if he is interested in commemorative or other special knives, but he wants them to be military, not knockoffs. Anyone have an lines on how he should begin? What are some good sites to check out, etc? Any good online forums for the military knife collector (which doesn't have the chief as a member)?
