![]() For my lounge I used two bathroom fans at 100CFM each on separate switches, they work great, but my lounge is on the 1st floor! If you are building into a basement, you would need a room that does not allow any smoke to pass from the basement to the 1st floor through the basement ceiling (and it will happen unless that ceiling is airtight, e.g. no can lights, no ceiling exhaust fans, etc). For a basement I would do two exhaust fans mounted into the wall with a 4" exit through the sill plate. I would also add a HEPA filter that you can leave on when you leave the room.

Explain to her that if you were inside instead of outside while smoking,
you'd be able to spend more 'quality time' with her, discussing pillow shams & drapes & whatnot. Then again, maybe it's better you stay outside & avoid such talk. ![]()
