Summer vrs. Winter
I was thinking about this today. do you have any preference of cigar types as they pertain to the time of year? I tend to lean towards more spice and deep more rich cigars in winter. Just curious.

No change in preferences for me.

Re: Summer vrs. Winter
Maybe it's because I have to smoke outside or in the garage. It seems I prefer something that feels, "warm" Whenit's really hot I levitate more toward a Fuente sungrown or something like that. In winter it seems I crave more of a Puro Authentico or Joya Antonio,

Only change I make is size. Tend to smoke shorter cigars in the winter due to the cold weather.

In the summer, I tend to prefer Ramon Allones, Partagas, Bolivar and Por Larranaga.
In the winter, it's Ramon Allones, Partagas, Bolivar and El Rey del Mundo. Although I do like Por Larranaga in the winter.

I Usually Have More Burn & Wrapper Issues In The Winter. I Always Smoke Outside; Our Colder, Dryer, Lower Humidity Here In Mobile Is Not Conducive To Perfect Smoking Conditions. Therefore, I Tend To Smoke More Lower To Medium Priced NC's & Save My "Good Stuff" For The Spring & Summer.

It's because it's always summer in San Diego
No real taste preference for me, but I definitely go with shorter smokes during the New England winters. Once I become independently wealthy and have a smoking room built, I'll smoke whatever I want when I want. But when I'm walking the dog in sub-freezing weather, I'll go with a perlas or small panatela sized smoke. |

Vin - you can come to the new Casa de DBall - supposed to have a smoking room! :-)
The only thing that changes for me is I have to be more carefull with my sticks and cant keep a few in a traveldor in the car for emergency use (traffic jams, etc)

Only thing that changes for me is the quantity per day. Since it's soooooo damned nice out during the 4 days () of winter here in Florida, it's easy to smoke 3 or 4 a day. Summer, it's 1 or 2. Sometimes 1 every other day.
