I'd get there early as there is usually a big line to get in and there's limited time at the event. As far as steakhouses, try and call Peter Lugars in Brooklyn and get a reservation. It's a bit of a cab ride, but well worth it. One of the best meals I've ever had. I'll be there the night before the Big Smoke actually, lol.
