Yea, I would be surprised if the didn't take Jones.

Recently read an article that taking a D man 1 has rarely worked out(looked like the right pick) and they tend to be a difficult read as to how they'll turn out(vs other top D in their respective draft), vs F's....

Understood, but Jones seems like a special player.

Looks like the Hawks did themselves a favor for the future when they picked up LeBlanc, the Hobey Baker Awrard winner.

Jones being special, history with the area and most importantly....the Avs HUGE NEED for players on the blue line....seem to make this a no brainer....

Games tonight have all been very good and showing all teams have a chance. I thought the pipe shot was going in for the wild. Also thought they got hosed on toews hooking call. Still awesome OT.
