Smoked this one this morning with my coffee. Enjoyed it alot, actually. Anything mild and Connecticut in the morning works for me.

I'm kinda late to the thread but I tend to enjoy a nice maduro with a good cup of coffee in the morning. Just yesterday I had a Tampa Sweetheart TS-280 with my morning coffee. The TS-280 reminds me of a Fuente 8-5-8. A Padron 2000 maduro is nice too.

I'll climb out on a limb for this one, but I love the Drew Estate Java's. I don't normally smoke in the morning, but the couple times I did, I loved the Java.

I was gifted Padilla Fumas, they are very mild with a great taste. Cheap too. Check them out, seems like a great morning smoke.

"Looking for 5 good cigars to smoke in the morning"

No wonder you find it "overpowering" - I recommend that you never smoke more than 3 cigars in the morning unless you get up an hour early.

This one gets my vote as well, I also like the Carlos Torano Casa Torano.
