Rocky P Old World Reserve Corojo.
Had this in my shed a few days ago and i goto say its one of the better NC smokes ive had so much so ive ordered myself a box of 20 along with the maduro version both in robusto format.
SOOOO Construction - The wrapper was silky smooth to the touch and felt real good to hold just like a fantastic pair of knockers (no implants). Draw - It was good not too tight nor to loose just enough resistance for me. Music - Put some Within Temptation on from there Silent Force album. Pre light - The pre light smell and taste was simple its light tobacco and coffee lots of coffee. 1/2 - It didnt change enough for me to do it in 3rds so itull be halfs. It started on the mild/medium side with lots of of milky sweet coffee notes as well as some light cedar wood and a nice sweetness on the back of the palette. Incipiently im drinking a large mug of sweet milky coffee by this point. 2/2 - By the second half its trumped up to a fuller side of medium body the coffee flavours remain but they are more of a good black coffee with no milk and a slight dark 70% choc flavour but im still getting some sweet notes and a flavour that i would describe as rich tea biscuits or just a biscuity flavour in general. Overall a great smoke well worth the money if you like coffee flavours i found it a very relaxing smoke so much so at points i was sure i was smoking a coffee infused stick. |
