King Henry is pitch black.. Pours like a stout, but it's a barrel aged barleywine. Aged in Pappy 23 barrels, same as Bourbon County Rare! Damn this beer is complex!

The barrel character in King Henry is the insane! Such great flavors.. I wish I had the chance to get a bottle of Rare, because the 23 Pappy barrels have done wonders to this barleywine. Simply great

Wow, plenty of tobacco notes in King Henry.. Chocolate as well. Leather, nuts, leather, booze and cream dance in and out as well... Finishes just smooth as hell..
