I am a fan of Romeo y Julieta cigars. Not trendy, but "reliable."
RyJ Reserva Real RyJ Habana Reserves Don Pepin Blue (...for a more value minded Don Pepin, the Tabacos Baez line is pretty inexpensive) For a medium-full value cigar, I like "Blue label."
