This is a great question. My wife and I talk about this once in a while.
We think post-war '40s into the fifties would be perfect for us. The great music that you can dance too, big giant cars, a hardworking man could support his family without his wife working, and good family values make this era a great choice for us.
I wanna be able to walk into a club, have the waiter carry a tiny cocktail table down to the front, order a bottle of hooch, light a cigar, and dance with my wife.

I think that would be a much better life than putting up with how lousy our society has become. Oooo, don't get me started!
