if it was shaped like these then it was a hemingway

But from the sounds of it it was a Don Carlos. Fuente only has three sticks in the line up with the black on the bottom of the band, Hemingways(which are all figurados), some of the Chateaus(they wrap them all in cedar) and Don Carlos'(any other shape). White is solely reserved for Anejos, and green is everything else Fuente makes.
