VW makes some great cars. I was watching an old episode of Top Gear on the BBC and VW shoved a W-12 from a Bentley in to a GTI. It was pretty bada** but like most great concepts it will never make production.

I have seen that car in person. I am a member of a VW club in DC called Capital Dubs, and the VW of America HQ is near there. They have sponsored car meets at their facility and bring out the fun factory vehicles. It is loud as hell, but does not run very well. The last time I was there it was broke down

It's a scary concept a engine that big in a car that small. It would be a sight to see and hear and I'm sure an engineering nightmare!!

I work in the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, TN. We do make some awesome cars

EDIT: I work in finance/cost controlling. I am down on the plant floor every day keeping track of various stuff. The passat really is a nice car.

This is my dream car. I had the greatest opportunity to get my dream car when I was young and able.
1967 Mustang with the original 289 in it. I try to do a little to the car every year to keep it to the era, and drivable.

Im a huge automotive enthusiast. I love just about all forms, specially fond of Mustangs and also road racing type events.

Heres the last project car we built (with sponsors helping of course) for the enthusiast site I run. It was built for show, but it had plenty of go as well. Well rounded package including speed, handling and braking.

And my former car, 1996 Mystic Cobra. It was well on its way to being a track only car, but with it being a sort of rare Mustang, I decided to stop where I was and sell it before I went too far. Also having a baby and buying a house had alot to do with it as well

Nice Stangs!! The Mystic is a rare one. I've seen a few and always cringed when people over modified them.

Yup, a good part of the reason i ended up selling it. I didnt want to go much futher than I had, plus the car was gonna need a paint job (previous owner apperently didnt believe in wax).... therefore it would have cost more than the car was worth to get the paint from BASF.

My 88 Carrer back dated to a wide body RSR. Sold to fund other projects.

I've had this car for almost 6 yrs. I hope to keep Her forever.
