The regular LHOs are pretty good...these "small batch" are supposed to be a little better...we shall see. For $ 55, figured I couldn't go wrong.

Mark, the LHOs are made by Pepin...the regular LHOs are very tasty. The LHO Small Batch are "supposed" to be a little better. We shall see.

I have smoked the original release of these and they are the best Black since the original CG which in my opinion every black following those has been pretty far off the mark.
By the way the varnish smell that everyone is talking about on these is not varnish and is just the smell of wood/cut wood like some others have mentioned. I don't think they used cedar for these boxes but it's definitely not a varnish smell. Still will not use the box for storage though but it looks good enough to sit on my desk and be used to store pens and crap in.
