How many use wine fridges for storage?

One comment -- you note that the compressor is broken and that you think that the wine fridge will keep your "temps down a bit".

A broken fridge will probably not help you with temperature at all. How well this wine fridge does as a humidor really depends upon the ambient environment around the wine fridge.

If you are able to keep it in a basement or other "coolish" place as others have suggested -- it will do great. Otherwise, you will just have to find out...
