For clarity, Elderboy...these are likely NOT lined with copper. The copper alone would likely be worth 75 bucks.
That is stained tin, maybe stained steel. It is treated metal designed to look like copper. Check the other thread, I guess I am going to have to link to it now, http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=45409 A magnet sticks to this metal, and while I cannot state with 100% certainty that this humidor has to be exactly like the other as linked to, it is very likely TO BE. I am not sure it makes a difference to people, but it is helpful to know that these things are out there, and they are mostly all from the same era, made with the same materials. Bring a magnet with you when you visit it so that you can KNOW. |
