Hemmingways are always a good cigar, no matter how much you've smoked. My first was a Hemmingway so I may be a little biased, but you can't go wrong with Fuente. If he's fairly new and enjoy short smokes go for the Short Storys or Work of Arts. Bonus points for the maduros. Twice as many bonus points if you can find the sungrowns.

Sure, he won't appreciate the cigars, but they have a
nice presentation tin, and cost less than a box of CAO Vision.

Besides, you can offer to smoke one with him after dinner!
