Suck It

It is also with MUCH research that I have found this out, and now I pass it on to you for free.
Light your cigar and set your climate control to put out air at the feet only. Crack the window slightly and smoke away. It is the best you're going to get. It creates positive pressure from bottom to top helping the burn, helping air out the smoke and keeping the overall noise and breeze to the bare minimum. Your welcome. |

I love to smoke in my truck and find that it is one of my most enjoyable times. I crack or open all the way the rear window and as long as I am ashing in the Bobken as opposed to hanging it out the window I never have burn problems.

I don't smoke in the car as I shudder to think of burn holes in the leather seats as well as trying to use my lighter for touchups and lighting the cigar proper. That much dual attention to the road and to the cigar spells an accident.
Like anyone else, I do do two things at once while driving, but the only technique that I've found that seems even moderately safe is quick glances at the road alternating with giving attention to the second thing. But for me, I find that I forget to do the quick, alternating bits of attention to both things, the attention to the road suffering. |

Livin' in a Van....

I'm with Brad on this one. Vent at the feet. No fan on at all, there is always a little air coming in thru the vent. And the Drivers Window only cracked about 1/2 an inch. Its enough flow to keep the resting smoke going out the window but not enough to speed up the burn. This is also enough flow to exhauset the exhale. Works great for me anyway. |
