Default Vector Thunderbird Softflame Butane Zippo Insert
Well I bought a zippo from a little antique shop for $8 and wanted to convert it to butane. I decided to buy a Vector Thunderbird Softflame Butane Zippo Insert instead of a torch insert since I have 3 torches already. It came in the mail today. Couldn't be easier to install. Pull out zippo guts, put insert it. Insert cost me about $14 shipped. Works great. Can't wait to use it this weekend.

very nice, I might have to try one of these out, I gave up on the torch inserts as they usually die on me within a few months

they make another insert that is designed for pipes. not 100% where Justin got his, but I got the butane torch from wannalight.com

Thanks Murph...

My wife is buying me a Zippo and having it engraved for my 28th Birthday next week... I LOVE Zippo's, however, didn't want to ruin my cigars...

So I just picked up one of these, a can of Zippo Butane, and 6 extra flints for a grand total of $28.44... Hopeing that price comes down a little bit when the seller contacts me back about possible combined shipping...

$13.44 in product // $15.00 shipping cost... something is wrong there...

i did indeed get mine from there. kgm/vector has a lifetime warranty on these as well. So far mine has worked amazingly.

it works great. the adjustment is fickle. you gotta set it just right if you dont want a 3 inch flame
